Yup CK, when I see the big front end loader go by....there are ice chunks blocking the road.

Hey olddigger, it is a frozen 'waterfall' of ice along the cliffs (pic#2) look up through trees and see there's a bit of cliff face...they thaw/melt, then down they come..busting up to chunks from impact (natural debri slope along Bayshore) hitting trees, 50-100 ton stone boulders off cliffs from who knows how long ago, etc.

That doesn't sound like an ideal spot to build a house or road, too... close!
