Find a way to generate some electro magnetic interference when there detecting. Probably not that hard to do.

If you live in an area that has no hot rocks whatsoever, then get a buddy to send you some to plant. If your entire area is not known for them, they may never figure out what it is that's happening.

I have one of those on each shoulder I think.

Yeah, I think we all do at first. Just that sometimes, the one on the 'right' shoulder ends up being a darker shade than the 'left' shoulder.
