This little batch of relics and coins is a conglomeration of Mondays wooded park hunt where I worked an old ash dump for relics and found the Maine 1915 Porcelain Licence plate, the fairy nozzle and most of the other relics . Most of the coins were from a park green I hunted wensday after work.. I was getting alot of signals in this area of the park so I stayed and worked it for 3 and a half hours trying to pop out something pretty or old or both . Besides the pile of clad the Pontiac " Chief of the sixes " token from the 1930,s and a few other trinkets is what I came away with. Thanks for looking :icon_sunny: MaineRelic

I always read your posts MR but I was curious as to what the "H" a "fairy nozzle" was. Nice finds. HH, Quindy.

Well done!
I am a Pontiac nut and have always wanted to dig one of those tokens. It's still on my list.
Congrats,

Relic,
Very neat finds! I like the nozzle, cap gun etc. But that license plate takes the cake!

Great Relic Finds!
love the porcelain plate, first I've seen, and in great shape!
Antiquarian pulled some good info on your Fairy :hello2:
That's a nice capgun, quite different from the usual design.
I dug one of those 'Pontiac' tokens, wonder if they were a local item :icon_scratch:
Thanks for showing!

Thanks for the research info Dave I really appreciate it ! I also found a brass/bronze one in a little different style on E-bay . They were asking $195.00 promoting it as a gay curiosity relic . :laughing7:

Thanks Herbie , The research on the pontiac token claimed that the " Chief of the sixes " slogan came out in 1926 though the tokens were not made until the early 1930's . M.R.
