did you get much snow. im heading north by burlington this weekend to see my new grandson and hope to walk my old stomping grounds around there. hope to find something. nice axe.

Yea my last find before the snow really covered things ,as of today its all but gone after a little warm up ,I cant help myself going back out hunting while I can.Congrats on the grandchild what a blessing.

All joking aside, it kind of looks like a phallic effigy. Neat piece.

I had to look up Phallic Effigy , oh my to what I saw pictured at winrelic.com. It appears not to have much effort in its makeing all jokeing aside smells like dirt and stone I guess childs toy ? A word about the area after reading an Iowa history book its written as a Rendzevous place and has gave up some trade goods spread about for what seems like concentrated in a few miles of flat river bottom fields .
