I was determined to find a coin before I called it quits. I found my first fatty a 1859!! I got close last week when I found a 64 there but it was the thin version. I lost count of how many Indians I found there. I been finding older ones lately so that's nice. Happy hunting everyone!!!

NICE BUTTON AND INJUN....

Nice. looks like lots of detail left on the 1859. Congrats!

Nice! And in good condition too. I also found 2 Indian heads yesterday. 1900 & 1859. I don't really know much about them yet but they were both thicker than an average penny. They were the first ones i've ever dug.

1859 - 64 are called fattys because they are thicker then later year indians. not all 64 are fattys though.

Nice fatty Indian for sure!
