Walked 20 feet from my car and found that little beauty not sure what type of point yet...nice knapping stone maybe? And a sweet copper Ford cap I'm sure its archaic haha

Pottery or concrete? Found it in a hot spot but its so big and thick (yes I know that's what she said) I'm not sure?? The pottery I find looks just like it and it even has the blackend burns on it but idk help!

If I am correct on this, the river rock in this area were heated in a fire pit. Then these hot stones were introduced into a container( Buffalo shoulder hide) that contained the food. I believe this was one of the ways they heated their food.
