Hi pals, been holding in some MD fever due to weather conditions, ground is finally thawed and pretty wet so I figured I'd hit up a few old spots I've hit already but old timers said to hit again when the ground is soaked and cover any areas u might have missed, well thanks for that advice because it paid off nicely! Found a 1902 IH Penny, small silver pendant and small religious silver piece in the same hole. Moved on to find a ton of clad around $5.00, an old brass beat up pocket knife, and found what looked to be like an antique salt/pepper shaker marked "S.c.S co." Sterling silver!! Not even a foot away an old button unknown origin but possibly gold plated?!Was pretty stoked about that. Next site gave up a few wheats and some clad and PING PING, dug out a 1883 Large Coin....Draped Bust if my research is correct it's not silver but def a first bust for me and only my second large cent this first year. Found some other goodies too between the 3 places and about 6 hours total happy hours with my Ace 350. Enjoy the pics! image.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webp

Also if anyone could help identify the brass brooch like thing in the left side of picture with the design on it that would be great!

Boy scout necktie

Great finds, congrats

Looks like a great day out. That's some pretty cool finds and the IH looks pretty good condition. WTG

I think you've got a Victoria silver there. Not positive but it looks to be silver. If it is some lemon juice should do well by it

It's def a British coin and for some reason looks silver but I guess it's not. Nit sure if it's a half penny it not

Ok are you sure that's not silver lol? Is that a silver shilling? Now I'm damn curious. It looks silver to me.

Ok it's a bronze penny. Sorry for all of my confusion bud lol. British Victoria bronze penny. Very njce

I'm not sure what it is, my research is telling me it's bronze, 1883 Farthing Quarter Penny. Guess it's not a draped bust but still a large coin and a first in my collection! Yay!

Very cool Mike. I love it. Get some cheap calipers at some point. It will really help with the id of coins. Just get the diameter and that will usually tell the story. Keep up the good hunts bud

You scored some goodies there Mike ! I always like those green Indian Head cents ! and the silver salt/pepper shaker is nice ,
When- Her Royal Majesty Queen Victoria- shows up , you've had a good day !

Awesome congrats! Nice finds! You did awesome!

I get can slaw and clad! Lol,

Very nice hunt, Mike. The British coin is a definite winner!
