Wanted to add, I just don't see a logic why would the original Land deals Oversight Officer in the 1830s Or 40s put this big stone plate AND need to put a 2 lb Piece of Lead, or say 2 pounds of Cupro-iron Piece In the ground ... like 10 feet from the stone.
Or instruct 1 of the owners to put it there JUST IN CASE the 2 neighbors decide to start fighting about the border line

In the future.
In order for the State representative to do what? To go and tell the arguing parties : " Look, Here i burued this Piece of metal here even though you moved the 150 lbs Stone plate that was the Main border marker "
These parcels, before they were PARRTIALLY turned into arable land in the 1840s and 1860s at the latest, They were 60 % or more forested land. So if they were bought mainly to be used as firewood/ furniture making Lots, There was No Need to fight with your neighbor!
There was Plenty of WOOD for both neighbors.
Also, if they were bought so the owners could have a piece of More Secluded land to build a Log cabin and maybe a structure for animals , It would be the most stupid thing to Find a reason to Fight with your neighbor...
Furthermore, even if they Did Put a big 2 to 5 pound of Lead chunk, It would not be emanating stronger Pb Signal than The Silver signal Because Silver DOES easily ( granted no numerous Stone obstructions right next to each other ) "ENTWINE "itself or Merges itself with pretty much any Other gray Color metal that is good size and positioned in a Compact enough Space, Simultaneously.
Wires and cables are differentiate story, Electric pole Glass insulators and Bakelite pieces are Totally different story.
But I believe this Piece of Land is at least 30 years older before any Such early Modern components would have arrived there.
Also no Ancient 1800s Telegraph wires passed right through there. I verified that.
