Went to some fields friday and found Two Gilt buttons ,Small Cal. round ball,Oxen shoe with 3 nail still in it.buckle and some farm tool looks like it could be a weapon, and a lead bale seal.
Ground was frozen deeper than i like so only dug a few targets.

Any markings on your bale seal bud? I love those. Looks like some good potential at that spot

No marks that i can make out on the seal.
Site is just 1/4 mile from Catherine Town Wiped out by Gen.Sullivan and 5000 Continental solders 1779.

Ya most of my fall was taken up by... dropping,dragging cutting,splitting and storing of wood for the winter the older i get the longer it takes
