Field Test of Dowsing and LRLs

Ok, did I not say it was NOT 100%? ::) As I understand it concentrating on what you are looking for has some degree of bearing on what you find. I will not attempt to substantiate that premise. :o Some also use what is called "a witness." Supposed to help target what you are searching for (same disclaimer on that) Yes, the rods will cross over water to some degree and in the spring of the year they will cross over water laden roots...but in my area that isn't much of a problem. The only place I ever had the rods to cross and stay crossed was a midden I dug in once....you could not push a spade in the ground there without hitting pottery or some type of relic....of course in a situation like that rods are really superfluous. :o

I cannot explain why the rods cross over relics, anymore than I can explain why they will cross over underground water pipes or a water hose, but cross they do. Also, I will not bet the farm on their accuracy or my ability to use them. :-[ I don't think the rods impart any psychic enhancements or magical abilities to the user, if anything they allow for the detecting of subtle fields or changes in soil associated with the presence of artifacts, etc. I am not out to prove the rods work, nor am I trying to sell snake oil to the masses. ::) I am simply telling you of my experiences. " I do believe Moulder, I do believe." ;D Lunacy? Consider this, I spent nearly a thousand dollars on a nice metal detector....I have found a few pieces of sterling silver and a mercury dime.....seems I am still about $950.00 in the hole on that one....should have just bought a "treasure" with the money I spent on the metal detector. :-[

Whether a physical reality or a mental placebo, I will keep the rods in my "bag of tricks" for finding relics. If a hoax and I am deluding myself, its a cheap fix. If something more, then it gives me a 'one up' on guy without them. ;) Truth is I am going to dig somewhere based as much on personal experience as anything...if the rods "point" to a specific place on such a site, whats the harm in giving them a try? Random chance?, perhaps, but I have built a substantial collection randomly finding what others have missed.

Well Ive never used one been looking at the raven and it does come with a silver round for testing?, if it didnt work why include a test round?, anyway something to look into but be aware of as it may or may not work if it does halaluya, I would depend on the 2 box before i did any questionable instrumentation, well test and try guys, ask about guarentees before you buy, if it cant find the test round someones getting there --- chewed, at the store, anyway hehe, Good luck on the treasure trail, tammahawk

Excellent question*. If you decide to purchase a Raven, I'll offer you my $25,000 prize if you can demonstrate that it really works, in an incredibly simple test, using the same silver test round included in your purchase. This same offer is available to the manufacterer, so you might want to ask why he's avoided it**.

* There is an answer that involves "doesn't work" which will become obvious after you buy the device.

** Or why he refused James Randi's $1 million dollar offer for a demonstration.

now thats really crappy if the guy wont stand behind his work or what he built, whats that telling us?, tammahawk ???

i believe that there are a few people out there who can dowse....most of us can not....i have tried that many times....ill spent money....lou >:(

LAMPE PARK PAVILION, (HWY 395 & WATERLOO)
GARDNERVILLE, NEVADA

At this demonstration we will prove:
Test #1.
100% DISCRIMINATION against all other metals, gemstones or elements other than the one we have the unit set on.
Test #2.
TRACKING ABILITY: We will prove that our unit will track nitrites; a 50 caliber bullet; 99.97% Uranium; a red Emerald; etc. being carried physically or in a moving vehicle.
Test #3.
ACCURACY & DISCRIMINATION: A well-known skeptic will then place a line of 10 paper plates either 100’ or 150’ away from the xxxx. Each plate will be spaced 4’ to 6’ from the next plate in the line up.
a) The ten minerals in the above test, chosen by xxxxxxx, developer of the xxxxxxx , will be of laboratory grade from those listed here.
Gallium 10g. 99.999% pure; Neodymium 25g. 99.9% pure;
Nickel 5g. 99.998% pure; Europium 1g. 99.9% pure;
Germanium 10g. 99.999% pure; Indium 5g. 99.999% pure;
Hafnium 2g. 99.8% pure; Tantalum 10g. 99.95% pure;
Rhenium 0.5g. 99.9% pure; Samarium 1g. 99.9% pure;
Tellurium 10g. 99.9985% pure; Osmium lg. 99.95% pure;
Rhodium 1g. 99.9% pure; Chromium 25g. 99.6% pure;
Gold, Nitrates, Emeralds
b) We will place a piece of Gold (fly-speck size) between 2 – 25 lb bags
of lead shot and pick it up on the Gold frequency while completely
ignoring the Lead.
Test #4.
ACCURACY & DISTANCE: We will prove accuracy of 1/32 of an inch to a target. The operating distance of the xxxxxxxxx is 8 miles plus.

There were 25 people there.The first test was the speck of gold between the bags of lead. Bob Yokum is over 80 and has a hard time walking. The rods crossed on the speck and some guy started yelling I saw your hands move. He got in Bobs face and started waving a gold coin around and was yelling how come you didn't pick this up.

The second test was with a rock containing Ruthenium. I am told this stuff sells for $4000 an oz. This time there was 3 guys yelling. I guess what they wanted to know was how he knew the signal was from his unit and not from some other source. Bob explained that his shoulder was in line with the red clip on the antenna. They would not except that answer.

The third test was the tracking of a vile of nitrates. My wife took the vile as she knew the drill. While Bob was tracking her movements the yelling started again. This guy from No.Dakota stood up and explained the facts of live to them.

Next these items were place a 100 feet from the unit. 1. Mammoth Tusk 2. Blue Opal 3. Colbalt 4. Turquoise 5. Platimum 6. Diamonds 7. Zercon 8. Tungston 9. Osmium and sorry I missed # 10. Three people were picked to be judges and enter the freq. into the LRL. Bob went over by the objects. An object was picked and entered into the unit. Bob could not locate it. Another object was entered and Bob could not locate it.

I grabbed a set of rods and checked the LRL. I found no signal. I did find a signal from another source. I checked the direction of the signal and it pointed to a SUV in the parking lot with the 3 skeptics standing by the open rear hatch.

By then every one was confused so I went to pick up the Auto I was taking to Sacramento for my son. When I returned everyone was gone.

The signal I picked up was in the general direction of North-South and I didn't check it with a compass so it may have been a natural signal. The only thing I can say is that the Range Master failed the test......Art

Is it fair to say that, as long as Bob knew the location of the target, he could locate it, but if he didn't know the location of the target, he could not locate it?

I received the signed contract from Bob on Saturday, so I will try to make a trip out to Reno later this summer.

Hey Carl...That is a fair statement. I am going to be in that area next weekend so I am going to stop by the park. The more I think about this the more confused I get. In a park that size with a set of brass rods I should have found a lot of natual signals. My rods only found one signal...Art

Just my thoughts, I'll bet you will find more signals.

I am not supprised about the results. However I will be interested in what Carl-NC finds in Reno later this summer.

Keep us informed.

Hey Rich...Yesterday I found 11 signals in the area. The one I found last Saturday was not there. The canal that runs thought the park was where most of them was coming from....Art

Art, I'm not really surprised. Being in a park you would expect to have more than just one signal. Thats one reason I would never agree to take any test but my own.

This was posted earlier>>>>>

*I understand that most the crap being sold does not work, I mean if I had invented one that worked why would would I want 100 guys out there competing with me right?" <<<<<<<

That type thinking may the the motives behind such a fuss that these LRL don't work. An LRL can be jammed, even a MD next to another won't work right. Now I'm not saying the fellow that said it wants many to think they don't work, but I think I will start being more quiet about mine, and If I was onto something, I might tell others those things don't work!. Yep, I think it just quit working, don't know why....................

Hi!

Is there anybody out there, that knows the general area where a an actual treasure is buried and they need it found. I would be willing to find it for them for half of it?

My searching techniques are mine, so don't ask about them. You can watch me find your treasure and when we dig it up. We split it on the spot and go our own ways.

If it is there, I can find it!

Blast from the Past. ::) :D

I think you mean Do you know any dowsers stupid enough to broadcast that they found a big one? I don't think I need to answer that one. Being able to dowse and finding a treasure cache are two different things. That's a whole story in itself.

Yeah--I know that every dowser and every LRL user has struck it big.  Just none of 'em willing to share/post/show even a small cache or a few coins found on this or any other forum.  :wink:  Buncha paranoid folks aren't they?  :)

Playing up their abilities but no posts of finds--same with most cache hunters.  ::)

Folks want to believe in something I guess--especially if they spent hundreds of dollars on it.  Best Way to sucker 'em is to make it such an expensive scam that they are reluctant to believe that they got screwed out of that much money.  Brilliant!  :)

On the OLD FORUM, I had proposed a Field Test for dowsing and LRLs!
This would be a good & fair way, and a public way, to test, and, for all to witness/see the results!
If you're interested, in more information , on having a Public Field Test , see the subject of, "Dowsing" on this forum!? Reply #193.
Hey Billy, How about running this test along with the filter gold from water outfit? Could kill two myths ahh birds with one trip :D :D :D :D

Do you know of any dowsers who got rich by finding anything?!

Actually, I have "no" misconceptions about dowsing. :D

The intelligent part might be debateable though!!!

Not rich, no. But Jim Longton in UK is on record as being a treasure-finding dowser.

Incidentally, why shouldn't a dowser charge for his / her time if its in demand? Are you a commie ? ;D
