Final Trip To The Soccer Field

I went out to the soccer field Saturday before dark for the 10th search and found a little more clad. I only searched a small area because I was saving the , what I thought, better area for last.

This morning I woke up about 6 am and headed out for the final search. After getting coffee and gas, it was about 7:00 before I got there. To my surprise someone had allready beat me to the draw. You could see the trails back and forth in the dew on the grass, and the little tuffs of lifted grass where they had recovered targets. The strange part is they hit only the last place I hadn't, and nowhere else. I'm not talking general area, I'm saying they hit the exact area I hadn't hunted yet. HMMMMMM. Oh well, I still found a little they missed.

By the time I finished it was getting way too hot, and my VID meter was blacking out on me where I couldn't read it. The detector worked, I just couldn't read it. So now I'm off to somewhere new that hopefully has a little shade. The totals of this field are as follows:
Quarters = 71
Dimes = 216
Nickels = 40
Pennies = 66
Kennedy Half = 1
Susan B. Anthony = 2
Silver Dime = 1
This field is still way too new and haven't had the time for finds to build up.
I never did find a ring in the whole place, and I hope my claim jumpers didn't either. But I'm off to bigger and better fields now.

Maybe they saw your posts here and because of your map, knew all those gold rings, piles of them were sitting there waiting to be found in that last area you hadn't searched...lol. Sorry, couldn't help it.

That's for sure where the piles of them were at. That's why I was saving it till last, so I could bring my trailer to haul them all off in.

That really sucks! Maybe you shouldn't post satellite photos of the places you hunt; at least until after you are done. Looks like someone just shafted you. Other guys have said they don't give too much info as to where they are hunting just for that reason.

I hunt several places that I don't even post about. If it were some of my good places, I would care. But I post these mostly for the enjoyment of all the members of TNet, and the places I post are usually hunted by other people too. It didn't surprise me a bit that someone got the jump on me on my last area. I really expected it to happen alot earlier. Besides, They never find it all, and the cross I found the other day proves that. I post these for entertainment and maybe some people learn things from it. This is not my last posting of this sort. I just hated going home with an empty trailer.

I'd say they studied your map on previous post. Didn't you say "Always leave a little."? Still good to see the field still giving up targets...
