FINALLY, first point(s?) of 2011

Hello, Well I have my first points since New Years eve day, I've been out looking for a while but we haven't had a whole lot of rain ( ...yeah thats it ) (that means nothing to post ) till recently & I was able to be the first to the creek no foot prints, & the gravel bar had been turned so I knew there had to be SOMETHING (not long after I got there another person showed up at the mouth of the creek & then another so I was very lucky).

The first one I found I thought it might be a thumb scraper or knife but then after I got it home I noticed it looked like it had been hafted! So I think its a triangle point

The next would have been great had it been whole but broke its still 2 3/4 ".

I found a whole lot of flint & chopper but haven't gotten photos.

It's nice to find a place with no footprints huh? Too bad on the broken one, but at least it's something. good luck with getting more rain and points!

That looks like a hard place to hunt too, with all the rocks. Congratulations on your first 2011 finds.
