After a week of camping in Canada we drove half way home to northern MI. Detected a nice, sandy, easy digging playground there. Found my first ring and, although it's a child's ring, it sure looked a lot better than a pull tab in my sand scoop!
Also found $1.09 clad and a gaurdian angel coin in an hour of digging fun while the kids played. Oldest coin was a 1960 nickel. Gotta love this hobby!
Thanks for looking and keep digging.
p.s. Had to include the last pic of the local rectory's garage.
