This season has not been as good as the past two years for me when it comes to pulling silvers, :BangHead: but I finally dug an item that will check two off my Bucket List. It's amazing that if you dwell on what you really want to find, it usually comes true in a short time. THE SECRET has worked for me. :icon_thumleft: Earlier this year I was fixated on digging a Capped Bust. While in NY hunting with the B@stards of the Bramble guess what I dug the 1st day, an 1834 Capped Bust half dime. :hello2: During the summer I had the SLQ on my mind since I've only ever dug one. Within a few weeks I pulled two of them. Recently I have been wanting a Seated quarter and a Love Token. Well today it happened. :headbang: Since it was slow at work I took the afternoon off and drove different roads home looking for more prospective sites. Upon getting home I sat in the garage catching up on Tnet posts and the wife asked "aren't you going detecting"? Well it only took me a few moments to change into some dirt fishing clothes and off I went. The 1st site I hit should have some old coins there, but I have not pulled anything older than a wheat penny. After about an hour I went to site #2. I've hunted this permission a couple times and I knew it had to have some keepers somewhere. I have permission to pull the floor boards out of the small barn/carriage house to see what I can find. Well that wasn't going to happen today only having a couple hours before supper so I concentrated in the back in a very trashy area using the sharpshooter coil running the FA process. WOW I was so stoked when I saw this find. :headbang: Immediately broke into a happy dance and I'm still wearing a Sh!t eating grin as I type this. :tongue3:.

That love token is, um okay, yeah right, SPECTACULAR!

There you go yanking my chain Mzjavert, :tongue3: thanks for taking the time to post on my find.

We saw one on here about a year ago that some cheapskate made from a nickel. Now a quarter that really sayin I love you. That was a ton of money back then!

You are so right. A quarter was big money back then.

I'd never heard of these before so thanks for the lesson Loco and sweet find!

Thanks DigToCHina, you hang around Tnet long enough you'll be surprised at the knowledge you'll gain regarding the treasures we seek and find.

Congrats on the rejuvenating bucket listers loco. Seated Quarter is one of the highest on my list of things to find. Maybe one day. HH man

Thanks DigIron, just know it's going to happen, believe it thoroughly and you will be amazed what you pull from a future plug.

Very nice Loco, a Love token is on my "Gig in the Sky list" So is a SLQ, Barber Quarter, Capped Quarter, & 1,000 other things.

Davers

Thanks Davers, site selection has a lot to do with it, I foresee you checking one of those off your list before the end of the year.

Congrats, Loco! Both those finds are amazing and I am so happy you got to knock some off your list!

Nice job LD! Sure is a good feeling to knock them off the list. Enjoyed your post.

Super find. My buddy dug one sort of like it very close to me and I was devastated. [emoji2]
But i found alot of stuff near him before too do the same to him! [emoji120][emoji106]

Sweet finds!

Very nice engraving on the love token. It's an unusual rendering of that style Blackletter script. It has serifs on the uppercase. Normally, or rather traditionally, uppercase lacks serifs and flourishes are used instead. Just something odd and cool I noticed.

Congratulations on the bucketlist day!

Killer find Loco!! Keep on swinging brother!

You know exactly how I feel about this "Double Bucket Lister", so I will not drone on and on about it.

Ouch!

Congrats, Loco! Both those finds are amazing and I am so happy you got to knock some off your list!

Thanks Jimzz, I've learned to hit trashy areas real slow and hard, especially on older sites.

Nice job LD! Sure is a good feeling to knock them off the list. Enjoyed your post.

HH, RN

Thanks RN, glad to see you got out and detected again. Hope your friends and family make it through these trying times.

That's amazing! Congrats!

Thanks hbru123, it just goes to show that the more you swing the coil on older properties the more goodies you find.

Killer find Loco!! Keep on swinging brother!

Thanks Bart. just trying to keep up with your and the other B.O.B.s finds. You guys always pull multiple keepers every time ya'll swing the coil.

Ouch!

Thanks Tom, I appreciate your post and sorry to cause you pain... not, :tongue3: I've been planting the seed to my wife that we are due to go down and see her parents.

Super happy for you. What a beautiful object and personal bit of history!

I've never met someone successful at anything who didn't visualize it...not sure how we can explain it, but I sure don't discount it. May you continue to find what you are dreaming of. : )

Congrats on shortening your bucket list by two, that's a beautiful personal item.

Thanks Z.K. i appreciate your kind words and philosophy, My neighbor got me my last 2 permissions. Great guy. He was just as excited about my find after I showed him the Love Token and what I knew about them.

Congrats on shortening your bucket list by two, that's a beautiful personal item.

Thanks Steve, she's a beauty, My 3rd and 4th of the season. The other 2 were the capped bust half dime and the plastic treasure chest I dug which had 5 silvers, 13 wheats and a total coin face value of $3.65 probably was buried in 1967.

Loco 2 incredible finds. I mean incredible! You deserve it not to mention some sort of detecting wizard. The mind is a powerful thing. Congratulations my friend.
