I don't know how long you have used your ATP, but every 6 months to a year, watch the instructional video again. It will help a lot.

that's a great IH, I used pro zero, iron discriminated at 30 and had a ton of success with it
standard mode reminded me of my ace 350 with the belltone

I bet your school holds more goods!

Nice claddy, you need tell the difference bettween deep targets and shallow targets, thats why you needed to change that program, when i put your machine on the bench and did an air test i new it was set up wrong now you can concentrate on deep signals....

Thanks I owe a big thanks to park pirate he set up my new program on my detector and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be in this awesome hobby

Park Pirate is quite the man... I've heard that he runs the upstate! Glad to see that he is getting you moving in the right direction. Best of luck to both of you!

Sarge, Congrats on the nice finds. If your soil will tolerate it, dedicate one set of batteries and try running your Pro "wide open,", i.e. pro zero (as cjon455 suggests) but crank the sensitivity all the way up, iron discrimination at 40, and dig all repeatable targets at the school site, trash and all. Watch as you find jewelry and some deep coin targets! That is how I do it, sacrifice batteries for jewelry, as my posts show. Best of luck, Sub 8-)

What coil do you use on the Pro? I run the same settings with the 5x8 but in certain places, I feel I would go insane with the sensitivity/disc that high on the stock and my head would blast off if I tried that with the NEL Attack. Do you do anything to cut out the chatter? I sometimes end up turning iron audio off until I get a hit and then go over the hit with iron audio on.

I mean, I definitely need to try it since your results don't lie. You find a ton of goodies.
