Finally! The Streak Ends!

My skunk streak finally ended! I know some of you will baulk at this, but a $1000 a week is a lot for a student.

I went through 6 boxes of dimes and 4 boxes of halves... nothing. Then, on the 5th box of halves I got 1 proof coin and 7 40%ers!!! My faith has been rejuvenated and I'm ready for the next skunk streak!

Update on the box of halves and dimes... Skunks! I'm gonna give up on dimes for a little bit, loomis seems to only carry 2012Ds these days. And I'm convinced all half dollars are either 1971 or those annoying bicentennials which, in my experience, often look like 40%ers from the side. What trickery is this lol

53 skunk streak! That's insane! At the rate I go through them that would last me a month!

That streak was in mid 2011, i believe it started in february and ended in august... My current skunk streak just grew to 17 boxes... 7 more boxes due in tomorrow. hopefully the streak doesn't grow.
