It only took 35 boxes but I finally landed me a Walker. 1943

Yea I know it's not a solid roll. Those seem to be found every day on this forum. I just pulled the walker out of the second roll of a box so if it turns out to be something good ill update.

Nice Find!!!

Silver always brings a smile to my face.

Walkers and Bens bring a even wider smile!!

I got a '36 walker from a tellers tray today. My first 90% ever from a tellers tray.

...........it's so funny how it works. I hit a coin on the second roll that I haven't hit i35 boxs so naturally you would think it would be a good box? Nope.....that was the only silver in the box. Lol, I'm still happy. I got a walker and it was an above avg silver box take. Meaning my avg so far is about 1.25 40% per box so any 90% helps my avg. plus there just way cooler :p

Do you live in a more rural area? You don't have to tell me where you live but it just seems CWR and teller tray scores are all about location. I'm in a major metro area. No CWR ...... But I can get boxs. I'm Ionesco of the largest fed districts as well so my supply should be good. It just a matter of are you better off with larger volume boxs or CWR. Not like I have a choice anyways, it would just be nice to hit that solid roll.....

yes, i live in a fairly rural area about an hours drive from the nearest metropolitan area. My score today was in a smaller town with about 4 banks. Most of my decent finds have been in the burbs or smaller towns but my best score was from my hometown (3 solid rolls of Franklins). I do as much volume as I can but I love to go into new banks in new towns. You never know what you'll find. I bought a 1 k bag of halves today from a counter in a small town that had 24 small dollar coins but only 2 40%ers. I order about 6 boxes a week on top of my CWR crusades.

Oh and OP, rock on!

Yea, I guess the metro areas have all the young people. No old folks dropping off treasure.

Yep, it's random.......next box 5-40% !!! WHOOT WHOOT!

No solid rolls but a very nice two box night. I'll take it! That will up my avg a little bit.

yea it's funny how it works like that. Or when you get an ender and it's the only one, or even when you pull a silver out of the last roll. I only had 2 rolls of BWR nickels lying around and was going to dump them with the rest of my coins, turns out one had a buffalo with a full date, glad I opened it! you just never know. Or like when I found my first 1970, it was in a roll with a 90%. only two coins in the box!

Congrats Easy. I loved finding my first one also.

Good luck,

Jeff
