Finally!

[Jonathan_K]

After getting my detector this Christmas from the wife, I haven't really had a chance to get out and play with it, with the weather being as uncooperative as it has been... So, I thought I'd step outside today, since it's not freezing cold, and found $1 coin from 2008 just along my driveway! Not much, but I'm happy with my first find!

Congrats! Nice you could finally take the detector out for s spin! You didn't start with the small change!

I have been at this for about eight years now and have yet to dig a $1 coin. I would say that you are off to a great start!

Thanks, folks. I was pretty surprised, came right in and showed the wife. I'm guessing it was probably dropped by some of the people that like to take a shortcut through our drive to the gas station behind us. Kinda helps justify all the little accessories I've been picking up since she bought me this thing!
