I love those old cast tractor seats!
I've hauled literally dozens of those home with me over the years; I've found them in hedgerows , old fallen down barns, equipment abandoned in the edges of fields and woods, and in junk piles at older family farms.
I don't even have one to show you.
Many of the ones I've lugged for miles sometimes after having to get old rusty nuts and bolts to work( hint a large ball peen hammer and a large stillson wrench do the trick usually )
they are worth it

The ones I've rescued are proudly on a display wall in a tractor shop on a farm and rest are at an orchard for seating , they are fixed to old metal milk can bases for casual seating under some trees

I have seen all kinds of set ups for these old seats ...i gonna steel brush it down and paint it with rust paint .
Funny it was right across the road from my house at an old cellar hole site i`v hunted for 27 years off and on .
How i ever missed it i`ll never know !

Part of it was stickin out of the ground from a big tree looked like a rock and banged the coil against it the Deus went haywire for a bit .
