Dang! That's a nice point!!!!!

Geo-fact, good effort though.

Seriously though, that's a seriously nice point. The term G10 get's thrown around FAR more than it should, but that's an extremely nice point.

Congrats.

I have to agree. Black beauty. Great video of the insitu. Good seeing it come out of the ground. I think Twitch was right with a g-10 grade on that. Flawless like a diamond!! Thanks for taking the time to share.

Beautiful point. It's been along time since I've been looking for a rock!......................HH

Totally awesome point Kelly! :icon_thumleft: It looks like it's made from what I call Black Silkstone. Kind of like Basalt that has been heated to a finer consistency, giving it that silky sheen. Fantastic Find!

great viddy

that is a prime example of what makes us walk around in that field

Very nice find, congrats...

wow, that would be a true arrowhead right ?

As opposed to an Atlatl ?

Any guess of age ?

Thank you. I agree with Steve that this point was made for an arrow. I'd say the majority of the points we find at this site were made for arrows. I say this because most of the pionts we find are this size (1 1/2") or smaller.
