Found this Eagle Sword Plate last season in a privy. Who needs a detector anyway? Ha... Cool find for us since we of course were looking for bottles. jgas

The fellow that owned the land prior to my family was a good guy. When the wagon trail was too muddy to pass, he let people come through his place via a white rock hilltop rd. A good deed he lived to regret as do I. In the scheme of things it became a county road despite his protest. He was given the stagecoach line route that had run contiguous to his property, a muddy mess, it split the farm/dairy and now he had a bunch of fence to build, all uncompensated per his 80 yr. old daughter. Thats how the dump and mysterious events started that took me 50 yrs. to figure out.

A bunch of marbles caught in the roots of a cedar tree was strange and a clue to all the broken bottles,scarcity of points on the place.
