This years gridding of this site only took 3 days (6 man days). The conditions were perfect & the lovely dry soil was a refreshing change.
We knew the site was coming to an end as our scrappies per hour after 5 hours were; 6,5,4,3, & 2.
As normal for many Roman Sites the Fibula seem to be on the edges.

1 late 1st C BC - early 1st C AD Langton Down Brooch
Late 1st C AD - Early 2nd C AD Headstud Brooch with some white enamel diamonds.
We are now waiting for the late drilling, as we are out of options...
