Fire...Spending all day so far running calls for the VFD. The day is still young, the humidity is low, the winds are 30 mph, and everything is DRY! Ugh...

Ice...I squeezed a few hours in between calls and hit a little creekside park in my own community. Grabbed some clad and then got a solid, (not scratchy) 43 VDI at 2" deep on the ATPro. I am crusty enough to now know that gold hides in that range. I was not disappointed. Up from the ground came a small white gold ring with 11 stones, which all tested positive for diamonds! The ring is marked "10 K" with a fancy "S" hallmark.

First gold of 2017 for ol' Subterranean.

Thanks for peeking and yes, I did dig up about a dozen pull tabs before finding this little beauty today! Happy Hunting to all, Sub 8-)

Very nice ring. With the title I thought one of our snowbound members up north got out the flamethrower to melt a little snow to satisfy the detecting itch.:laughing7:
