Fireman's Celebration Souvenir Pin

It was a beautiful weekend in NC. I was able to get out with TNetter Todd Lipe for a bit of hunting. Unfortunately, I was unable to find any silver coins. I was able to find the following though:

- Old marble.
- Peace symbol pendant.
- Sterling charm with "IloveU" on it.
- Fireman's Celebration souvenir medal. The internet says circa 1890s. As you can see, it used to be gold and enamel.
- Flag lapel pin.
- Modern Blazer button. It looked good at first...
- A dozen Wheaties and one Canadian cent.

I see you have been hanging out with Vino too much and his bad habits have rubbed off on you lol ( you forgot pics! ). Glad you got out Tom. Must not have been one of those patented " Guaranteed " hunts? We had snow flurries but supposed to be back up to 70 or so soon.

The scene on the medal reminds me of when I used to sneak over into Tennessee and go to some of the hoedowns in the local bar. The hoedowns weren't that great, but the doorman/bouncer apparently couldn't do math and they'd let me in even though I never used a fake ID lol.
You did a great job cleaning the medal! The little sterling pendant/charm counts for the silver so Todd's money back guarantee remains unchallenged!
