Another awesome day in the rain! same old farm, think i finally completed about an acre , acre 1/2 area. 1700 more acres to go!! Bucket list again 1865 two cent piece in beautiful condition, i will clean it better! 8 real cut /clipped don,t care i,ll Take it, 2) more General service buttons both have a little damage ,but 1 still has the shank. shoe toe tap(2) colonial suspender clip with the prongs still in tack, musket balls , horse tack, and a pewter button I have not seen before, instead of a shank it has a raised spot on the back with a hole thru it ?? and a Pewter coin/ token ?? with writing on it and design but i can not make it out, it is the size of a Morgan dollar and is holed any idea?? Going back tomorrow !

Nice finds. Congrats on the bit. Like toasted said, pieces cut from 8 reales are not as common as those cut from 2 reale pistareens. I have found 20 cut pieces and 7 were cut from 8 reales. All the 8R pieces were found on military ( F & I and Rev War) sites.

Excellent finds. That could take a lifetime to detect all that! Congrats on the 2 cent and the cut 8 reale… even a piece of an eight reale is an exceptional find in my book!
