First Artifact Hunt This Year...Got a Goodie!

Just got back to Reno on the weekend and decided I needed to go searching for artifacts yesterday, it's been far too long!
I was walking areas on a playa where there was debitage scattered about when I spotted a little dark streak.

A banded obsidian Humboldt!

Took this pic driving home. It shows the banded obsidian better.

Very nice!! I find a few obsidian point around here, but it seems to hard to find a whole one.

Thanks, it's a Humboldt, constricted stem subtype. Dating is generally considered 3,500-6,000 bp for this subtype.
