have been reading all yalls stories for about a week now and couldnt stand it anymore had to try it. went to the bank and got 2 boxes brinks dimes since they had no halfs and found nothing. do yall have better luck with the paper wrapped ones rather the clear since the tellers cant pick through em?

Customer wrapped dimes and half dollars have always been better for me.

Rarely have I received the Brinks clear wrapped dimes. When I do, they don't produce.
I have searched strictly customer-rolled dimes for the last year. For me, they produce the same as boxed paper dimes, but better the chance for solid-silver with the customer-rolled.
Some tellers will search all the dimes that come in. Same with quarters. I hear their stories about finding the solid rolls, or, informing the customer that the rolls are valuable silver.

I have had abaout the same kind of luck in both kind of rolls clear or paper wrap. I gat a box of brinks rolled dimes today that was in the clear wrap I got 1 silver Rosie......Matt

from what ive heard the paper-wrapped are better...thank god that i do NOT know of one bank in my area that gives out clear rolls...ALL coins in my area are in paper rolls

It's probrably all in my head, but I like paper wrapped rolls for the suprise, I only get clear-wrapped rolls in my area and I wish I got machine wrapped-paper rolls(excluding half dollars, those are machine wrapped paper rolls), but pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters are all brinks and clear-wrapped.
