Only had a half hour to get out this afternoon after the rain and before my son got home from school . So I went just down the road to a tenant house that was from when my family farm used to be a hop farm in the 1800s . I have gone over the lawn on that place probably 20 times with my AT Pro . I was there maybe 5 minutes when I dug a solid 12-34 at about 7 inches . I figured a IH or maybe a wheat . So when I pulled it out and didn't see the Indian on the front I just threw it in my pouch and went on my way .It wasn't till I got home and cleaned my clad up that I realized I didn't have a wheat or a memorial . What I in fact had was a 1863 General McClellan ,Little Mack, Medal for One Cent Civil War Token . It had been holed to be used as a necklace or something at one point . Never thought I would find a civil war token in Upstate NY . Very nice start to my year first my KGII last week now this . I have to say I Love This ETrac!!
