First Civil War!

Was out in a field not too far from the house this morning and was really excited to find my first civil war bullet , then 2nd , 3rd, 4th, 5th Than found a buckle, its in pretty bad shape but ill take it. Was a very good morning

I would say you scored BIG TIME with the buckle plate! Not nearly as bad of condition as many others posted here. I would get into that field as often as I could.

I hunted it pretty good this morning but i am sure there is probably another bullet or 2 there. The weird thing is there was no trash, iron, coins, nothing? Just the bullets and the buckle, im not complaining but it was weird that is the only thing i have found so far.

I would say that you stumbled upon a virgin site. Go back, grid it off, expand your search area.

That's a very good sign that you are on a camp. Every known camp that we hunt has camp lead/mealt. When I find that, I know we are on good ground.
