Got another detector to add to my arsenal on Monday ,finally yesterday got a nice day to try it out . So I headed to alexandria to a yard ive gone over numerous times with the mxt ,xlt ,garrett 2500 ,minilab 705 and the fisher f2 .I had thought I had managed to get the majority of the coinage from the yard ,but to my surprize I had only scraped the surface I got a nice handfull of clad yesterday and also a union pin from ohio local 11 . I am very impresssed with the F5 , the ground was good running about 55 so I was able to crank up the gain and the threshold 3/4 th's of the way ,the depth was good I even found a .22 cal casing at 8 inches solid sound . All in all I was impressed still need to test it out on some clasic red clay soil ...
