First Digs with the New Detector

[Tinman]

Okay, here is my first little find with the new dfx! It's costume jewelry at best, but better than another pulltab.

Just after I dug this out, I managed to nick the cover of my LCD screen with my digging tool ouch!

Hello, & Welcome to the forum...
Like you said, at least it's not another stinking Pull-tab... Good find, WTG!!!
One thing you might want to concider about your LCD screen is some type of cover for it. Like the ones here used on cameras: http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Digital-Camera-Screen-Protectors/dp/B000FVXY2U

Good luck, & Happy hunting~

I think you need one of my Redneck meter covers. They sell for 3 equal monthly payments of $19.95 each. Let me know how many you want.

Hiya Tinman, it's all just a lucky dip, and you did good for a first run (considerring your not using a minelab
Nice bunch of people here, and lots of good oil for greenhorns like us.

Hey, thanks to you all for the welcome and the advice. I really like the meter cover there piggman...maybe then I would learn to listen for the right tone instead of watching the screen . See you guys online.
