I had a little time this morning before I had to meet a fellow hunter to go relic hunting so I hunted the second oldest park in Knoxville. I have hunted it before but no great finds. I wanted to hunt along a creek that was used by soldiers in the Civil War but we just had a storm come thru and the grass was pretty high. So I hunted another part of the park that I never hunted before and got the usual clad. On one signal I looked down and saw a large coin with a flying eagle and the words ONE DOLLAR. I carefully removed it from the hole. Man I was excited. Then I turned it over and it was a 1979 Susan B. Anthony. BUMMER. I have found these before and I still get excited when I find them. It was my first for this year though.
