I opened an account with the local CU last week, knowing they have a counter in the lobby. Went in the first time earlier this week for a 'test run'. Ran $120 flawlessly. Went back in today to dump some more halves, and I think it miscounted. I'm SURE I had $350 in the coffee can, and got credit for $367......... I didn't bring it up, as I need to reconcile the rest of my halves (I get 2K weekly). Any chance I convince them they 'overed' me? Yes, I made up that word. Overed. :tongue3: :tongue3:

I've read lots of posts here regarding getting shorted and the process to get credit, but what happens when they give you too much money? I realize that sounds counter-intuitive. Any suggestions?

Edit: That's CU for Credit Union, not CR :tard:

I recall hearing that halves sometimes count as small dollars. If that happened, you'd get $367 if exactly 34 of the halves counted as dollars.

You had 700 coins. If 34 of them counted as dollars, that leaves 666 as halves ($34 + $333 = $367). :evil5:

Yeah, but the receipt itemizes by coin, and it only listed halves. I dunno, maybe I'm a dufus, and miscounted the batch going into the counter. I'll find out when I finish with this weeks' dumps.

Thanks for the reply, though. Merry Christmas.
