First finds with Xterra 70

Hi All

i got the beast last Friday and went to the area where the shooting fest
was in my town.
I searched at least 4 times there before with the Ace (found a few coins).
I then searched with the Xterra with the 9" 18,75 round coil (found a few
more coins)
I then got the used 10,5 DD 7,5khz coil and went looking again.I found 6
more coins from 1877 to 1976.
Plus a nice 1935 walking liberty silve half dollar :-)
I also found 2 small badges from the nazi times with swastika.
4 of the coins im not showing because they are in really bad of condition (Copper)
Here are the walking liberty and another coin and the badges.
I must say that ML put a nice detector together with that Xterra.

Wow! that Hitler Youth shield is really sweet! I don't think I've ever seen one like it. The second I think is the physical fitness award. Very cool stuff!! I just sent your pic to my father who has a huge collection.

Dang Dude, those are ueber (over) awesome finds! The Nazi badge with the HJ on it could be from Hitler Jugend (Hitler Youth) but that is usually symbolized with a single S similar to the SS. I note a 1 in front of the Franken Ostmark Treffen, maybe the first meeting of its kind. There is a date at the bottom legend, what is it? Looks like October 22-27 1931. Here are my thoughts, that 1935 Walker was a war trophy taken from an American soldier by a German soldier, given to a Hitler Youth kid and he lost it during one of those shooting or qualification meetings. The Schuetzenheim (Shooting/Gun Club) I am in has a 3 time Olympic winner, SHE, yes, a girly, is one of the best shots in the club but we have a few that are about to move on to the Olympics, boys and girls and they should do well. Like Minelab says, your old hunted out spots will become your new hot spots. Congrats on the finds and HH
