First Freshwater Beach Hunt

I was dying to try my new sniper coil (5" DD) so told the wife I was going to a Lake Erie beach. She said I probably wouldn't find much since it's too early in the season for beachgoers. I spent a couple hours having a blast: 15 quarters, 14 dimes, 7 nickels and 39 pennies. I also found a ring that blew me away until I got home and looked for a stamping - none. Oh well, it still looks real nice and I'm sure my daughter will wear it. Totally impressed with how the sniper found coins amongst all the trash.

It just may not be marked, it looks very nice. WHat does the machine tell you its is in the range of? gold is low, silver is very high, Stainless is in the middle?

My 14k gold band reads 31 (5 cent), the ring reads 62 (zinc cent) and a silver rosie reads 75 (10 cent). My wife says it's junk but nice looking junk!
