With all the chores here I never think to get out and it was a good break.
If I go to a jewelry store what should I have them check on the stone

Go to a higher end place.
Just ask them if it's worth getting an insurance appraisal done.
They will tell you if the stone is real or not.

I have found in the past some will do it in house.
The chains will have it done at the headquarters.
Look up the local jewelry shop in your area that provides the service .

Pawn shop.(150yrs in business)
Bought from both, had appraisals done by both.

I found my first and only gold ring oct 10 2015 .. I ran across the field like I was 14 again. Great find man ...

I got a new pair of chest waders and
I would like to someday get a dry suit..
It’s not to often that I can find a nice ring but this one is a major accomplishment for me..

I never found any but my wife has when she used to live by the ocean.
She said that she had better results searching in stone or gravel beaches versus just sand.
I thought perhaps placing that ring on the table would be a nice setting.
