✅ SOLVED First (possibly) recognizable iron

The site that I am on has a 300 year history. Eastern Pennsylvania. Most of the iron is just a clump if solid at all.

You can at least get an idea of the shape of this one. Any ideas?

Has anyone managed to clean something like this?

You could try an apple cider vinegar soak. Folks here say evapo-rust works well.
