First ring Today!

Despite the heat, me and my 4 year old son hit the local park for 30 minutes today. He was ready to go when I got a
high silver hit showing 50cent piece on my detector. Expecting a aluminum can I dug it anyways, mainly because when I switched to all metal mode
to check the size it seemed too small to be a can. Glad I decided to dig it! My first Silver ring... I'm pretty psyched!

Sweet. Now you are really hooked. Best advice I've ever gotten; to the best of your ability dig everything. There are parks and beaches I go to that are just too trashy, but when I get to a place and it's reasonable, I dig as much as I can until I am beat, and I usually come away with some gold. It's the only way.

LOL! The little pirate was saying "lets go dad it's hot!!!" and when We dug up the ring he goes "LOOK DADA TREASURE!!!!!"
It was a proud moment for me lol!
He was ready to keep searching. He usually carries around the pinpointer or sand scoop and likes to search the holes.
