First Site Investigation – Fall of 2025

I first investigated this site late last fall by doing a field walk looking for China and glass fragments. I knew there had once been a house on the southwest corner of this lot, but I was unsure of the age of the home. After finding a few pieces of 19thc China, I had to wait until April before I could detect here for the first time. You can see the results of what I found having detected the site three times. I have concluded that there was a barn located here, although I don't feel it had any relation to the house that was in the SW corner of the lot. I found what is either a stagecoach or train baggage tag, a few flat buttons (burned), horse tack buckles, oxen shoes and the reins guide rig.

Do some research into that towns history of ownership of that location. Back when every home / farm had a barn for their live stock / horses cows etc. . somwhere theres a record of who owned it and when !
