First Tahoe Gold Ring for the Year!

It's been a very slow start to my water hunting season, but I finally landed some butter!
Got to the lake pretty early this morning, before the tourists started to arrive. Found the ring almost immediately, in knee deep water.
It looked as though somebody had hunted the water yesterday evening as there were very few targets and very fresh looking holes in the sand. I guess they missed this one!
The other jewelry is junk.

That was a mighty long drought between gold rings, hopefully my luck has changed.

It was a solid 61 in 'Beach P' mode. Thought for sure it was going to be a pull tab!

Nice! I’ve done some detecting around Tahoe.
Try the old Girl Scout camp about Meeks Bay. I didn’t get to the out house privies.
Lots of stuff from camping area but mostly overgrown.
Also beach at Meeks is good. Swim out to bouts around swimming area, dive down and swim the sand cliff going down. Look for crescents in the sand. There old coins from silver mining logging days.
