Detector(s) used
Garrett ace 250
this is what we found one our first attempt at md'ing. it may not be much but it didnt take but 2 hrs and this was the first time i ever touched a metal detector. it was all clad for a total $1.05. 2 qtrs,4 dimes, and 15 pennies. along with a bunch of pull tabs and some misc. stuff my soon picked up.all was found under the bleachers of the local junior college. only covered about five yards under the bleachers so we still have 95 yards to go. you guys on here have really pumped us up and we are looking forward to many more days like this and maybe some even better.

I don't think you are going to be disapointed with your Ace 250. Congrats on a good day out!

first time looks like a great job to me nice finds congrats and goodluck on your next hunt ! ;)

Those are some nice finds ricky. I love my Ace and you will too.
It gets a lot better as time goes by.

Keep safe...

Great finds for only 15 feet. Must be those bleachers aren't made of metal huh? Most of them around here are and the MD sounds off so loud from the bleachers that you are lucky to find anything. Good luck with the rest of the 95 yards.

Welcome to Tnet rickyinms... Nice finds... Sure is a good time when you can get out with your son... Mine goes with me occasionally and we always have a blast...

thanks for all the comments. the bleachers are metal but the highest point is about 40 ft off the ground so there is plenty of room to walk and detect under them to. also helps me learn to distinguish between a coin and just a lot of iron. so far the digging is easy since theres not much traffic to sink the coins. just a little sand to dig through. thanks to all and hh

Those pop tops makes my mouth water.....keep it up and will be looking for the other 90+ yards of finds. The ace will surprise you..

Nice finds!! You clean up that layer of pull tabs, and new stuff, and then listen
for those mellow tones of some good deep coins. Bleachers are great!!!
