First Walking Liberty Half

[jfeeney]

Just decided to hunt with about 20 minutes of daylight left. My five minute hunting: 1 signal and 1 dig gave me this about 5 inches down. My first half, first Walking Liberty Half. Great end to kind to an otherwise crappy day...

Good find. It's my favorite coin. Of course I haven't dug any silver dollars yet, but still. It's a great feeling when that pops out isn't it?

Congratulations on your first Walker Half! I just found my first too...it's a great sight to behold when one of those beauties show up in the hole!

Kudos, one of the prettiest coins you can find.
And they have a great heft to them as well.

CONGRATS! I'd love to dig one of those, they're so beautiful. This month several t-netters have dug coins with my 1942 birth year, so thanks -- GROOVY! Andi
