Flake?

Still searching at my work at tilled up areas near the creek. This is the only one that caught my attention. Is it a shard from making a tool or just natural? I’m still learning.

Looks like you’ve got the right idea with one side with a bunch of “removals” and one smooth side, but the material looks too grainy. Id agree with the others on natural

wrong rock type.... look for slick, glass like texture.
