anybody got any lucky sticks ?..............twitko has a few cool ones...chokecherry and walnut

it is not electricians tape....it has no adhesive
it is real thick, like a tire inner tube

I used to make hiking/walking sticks out of cypress limbs & Chinese Tallow trees. I tried using mine as a "flipping stick" while looking for artifacts...just does not work too good in this Louisiana mud.

I've gotten a set of small garden tools @ Big Lots to make working in my flowers much easier. I ventured out one day to the field bringing the "miniature" garden rake. To me, it is the best thing I've used and that same rake has traveled with me where ever I go to MD hunts. I have it in case I have the opportunity to hunt artifacts elsewhere. I've had it for years, the handle was longer, but husband shortened so I could carry inside the ATV baskets. I can reach over and feel the "ting" of metal against stone. I can actually pick up flakes/chips with one tine without having to bend over. It got cracked when I headed through a gate, not knowing the granddaughter had moved it out of the basket. Glued & taped it just as good as new...but I'm on a lookout for another just like it. I did pick up a miniature leaf rake (all metal), this one works wonders when water hunting...just go under the artifact lift up and you never have to worry about getting wet.

those cypress and tallow limbs have a lot of character.....nice organic sticks
twit has a chokecherry limb he uses...now i see he has put a handle on it made from honduran mahogany

and one stick made of alder with flame rock maple handle also with macasser rosewood laminated handle

image #3: on the surface just laid down and just so happened right by a broke old point, a little KRF gum drop scraper, and an old patinated KRF scraper (upside down)

Thanks, larson1951. I'll look for it. It looks like it makes a comfortably soft grip. Some nie looking sticks. I got a kick out of your pictures below allowing the sticks to absorb mojo. Hey, it can't hurt!

yes my 4 year old little takoja (ta-ko-sha(means grand daughter in sioux) had those M&M's
she got them at the john deere store just before we went to the site...........(john deere M&M's)
i figured some one would catch that
i set the stick down by my truck and then noticed the 3 little pieces by them when i went to pick them up
