Re: Florida Hunt

there is only one person on here other than me that knows where it is and she isn't talking and you all don't know who she is. :D

I will give you some clues

Indians known to be there
Spanish known to be there
Union Troops known to be there
Rebel Troops known to be there
Fossils known to be there
Tourist known to be there
It's beautiful and scenic
Underwater detecting available
No ocean around it.
No open to Metal Detecting, This is special
I think that says No to Pensacola.
I hunt Pensacola all the time, I wanted some where new to me too

9 hours to Pensacola? how fast you drive? how many hours is considered a one day drive for you. BTW the horse and buggy are suppose to go to Chisolm not Florida lol :tongue3:

Re: Florida Hunt

BEF,

I usually hurry if I have to but I don't go crazy. :tard: I can drive 24 hrs straight if I need to but I was just wondering how much would be in front of me. I'm not trying to find out exactly where, just the miles. You can email me if you want to keep it private and I assume you do. Thanks,
Steve :icon_scratch:

Re: Florida Hunt

I think it's a good idea to have the hunt in Florida. We have tnet members from all over , quite a few from the State of Florida itself and several along the southeast part of the USA. It may be a bit too far for me but several of us might be able to work it in with a vacation and just make it part of the trip. I spent nearly 2 years in Orlando in the Air Force when it had a population of about 140,000 back in the late 60s. What is it now, a couple of million? I went back a few years ago and didn't recognize anything! Disney was coming about the time I left and that made all the difference. Monty

next time your back let me know I try and get you on some very old private places in central Florida. Yeap Disney started the amusement cycle, Amazing what a few old pastures and scrub palmettos can become. A local lawsuit was filed by some that sold him parts of the land and they lose but still to this day some local folks are still complaining the way He bought the property for Disney World.
