Thanks! Yes, that is what I was curious about…how frosted it is on the outside with such a rich orange color underneath…reminds me of a jelly donut.

That is some pretty honey colored material, any thoughts on what it is, coral, flint, chalcedony, something else? I like it whatever it is. I know I have commented on it before, but the more I see of them, the more I believe that the rust colored stains we sometimes see on our artifacts are plow marks, as they are almost always only on the high spots and ridges of the knapped artifacts. I think they often add to the character of a point, and show just how fortunate we are the more of them do not end up broken in plowed field contexts.
