Forget the Rings, Money is in Boat Anchors and Chains

Went out to the raft off last night. Not another detectorist in sight. Worked for me. Played until 2am. For those that have never heard of a raft off, here is last years picture. Over 5,000 boats and people everywhere. This is a drinking adult party on the lake.



Found the silver Claddagh ring first and some change. Finally hit a gold band. YEA!! Got back to the marina at 2am and slept. Decided to hit another spot today. Boy am I glad I did. I guess the picture will tell everything. A bit of clad and a few more sunglasses and BAM.

When I saw that chain hanging from the scoop I was floored. And yes I waded in this spot. A good day out in the water. 67.46 grams of 14K will work for me any day!

Just noticed you got 3 of almost the same exact pair of Sun glasses , one is marked Ray-ban are the others Ray-ban as well or knock-off's ,I suppose that style is pretty popular.

Have you ever found a 'Fossil' Brand watch.?

Just asking cause I have found 4 different 'Fossil ' brand Watches & heard they have a lifetime warranty.

Also that they will fix them up for free.
Have found many G-Shok types that had a Velcro band that are still good .

I must wait until our local lake is dropped in the Winter to search a 'Cliff Jumping ' Spot .

Got 3 Go-pros there last winter , a Hero 2 , & 2 Hero-3's & 1 nice Tungsten Wedding band that Fooled me but it's still nice.

I envy you water hunters , but ill bet there is a TON of Can's under all them boats from the ' Big Day'.

Glad I fooled some with my title! One of my best finds in the last couple of years. Thanks for all the replies. Going to be hard to beat that find for a while probably. Although I am working hard at it!
