It may have the name of the manufacturer on the bottom. If you clean it up good, you may find it. I like old traps. Nice find!!

Oh man... I hate digging those traps, I hit a spot up one time along a creek bed and dug a bunch of 3 ringer bullets along with about 15 vintage game traps! WhOa!! This may be an old Victor game trap, Victor co. made a lotx100 traps up to today.

The manufacturers name would have been on the trap pan and since the pan is gone you won't know who made it. I like finding old traps. I actually found a couple of mine other the years that an animal pulled out and dragged away.
