In a 4-hour digfest I managed to find a few keepers today.

Got my second haircut this month, 1904!

1936 merc

1905 Indian, which is in good shape, except for it was face-up, and cement-like surface corrosion, may have to soak in oil for a few months.

Same with the '11 V-nickel, found in the hole with a wheat stuck on top of it. Gonna have to soak that one too.

My heart skipped a beat when I dug the 1950 uncle sam play token, at first I thought it was an old worn quarter, came up all shiny, nuts!

Thanks for lookin' FFD

Thanks Jim. Yeah, great detector! Too bad my other one's collecting dust in the closet....Oh well I may get that one out to hit the tot lots this fall for gold!

Wow!! Great day you had there, love them barbers. Glad you could find some diggable ground. Me and old school went out today since it was nice, and the dang ground was STILL frozen. Now they're callin for snow. Oh well. At least you got out, and did very well I might add. HH Dan

wow what a great find ,I'm off next Friday,so are we on for the old ball field, can't wait let me know

you did get out and did good best of luck on your future hunts. you got me drooling got to get out there too. Lee

Excellent finds, congrats.

The digging was easy friday, but it was rather cold, snagged me a rosie, and a lot of
mud. Thursday, the ground was frozen solid, but since I went out, I decided
to dig anyways. I found that if you take a screwdriver and perforate the ground
in a horseshoe shape, it makes it easier to get you digger going. Sounds desperate,
but I couldnt help myself, did find 49 clad, and a good luck token.

When I got back from my friday hunt the weather channel said we had a 9degree wind
chill, hoping for some warm muddy days come march.

Good luck,
HH.
