I’m in doubt if this is real, but darn I got so excited, and still am unsure if it is real or not..

Their is a circular mark inside by the stone but I can’t read it at all..

Took some 1000 and 1500 grit sandpaper to it and I’m getting through the tarnish layer it goes from brown, to pink, and then the base metal is a light gold color..

Dang if this thing is real this rock is huge!!
Rock looks very nice..

What do you think?

Congrats on a nice find ! Whatever stone that is, it sure sparkles & reflects light like a real diamond. It looks beautiful. Was it found in or around a saltwater ocean/sea ? Could be old & real. You need a little more investigation & some expert opinions that I'm sure you can find here. Our fellow T-Netters will zero in on it. Best wishes for the Real McCoy!!

I think it's a Keepr. Beautiful ring Congrat's. I'm hoping for you too that this is the real MCcoy. Either way, it's a beautiful ring.

I’m thinking it’s not real either..
The pink between the tarnish and the “gold” is screaming plaiting to me..

Still better than the penny I thought I was digging!
Rang up just like a Penney and was pretty deep..

Great looking ring.
Either buy a tester, or go to any jeweler/pawn shop and have it tested.
Rose gold plating was common in the days of ago.
Just tell the tester to keep the file behind the counter please.

Rose gold plating eh?

Here are some shots under the stone area..

It looks like their is a circular stamp of some sort to the left of the stone there, and you can see where the tarnished layer turns pink before hitting the base layer..

Congratulations on your nice recovery.
Best of luck when you get it tested.
